All About Chris

Hello there! I'm Chris Hoovler, founder and CEO of Lesson Portal, LLC- makers of Teacher's Assistant Pro! I designed this app for teachers because I needed прогулка на речном трамвайчике в Москве an app to keep track of all the issues that can come up in my own classroom. I have been a public school teacher since 1997 and I know how fast things move when you are trying to get the job done in front of a group of students. I created the app to solve the "sticky note" and random scraps of paper that I accumulated when trying to keep track of what students did, or what they may have even borrowed from me. I hope you get as much out of the app as I do!

Chris lives in Spotsylvania, VA and has been teaching at Freedom Middle School since 2005.  His wife, Beth, is an elementary school teacher.  He has two children- Julia and Christopher Jr.  Chris is a member of VBODA, MENC, Phi Kappa Phi, SEA, and VEA.  He was awarded Freedom Middle School's "Teacher of the Year" in 2011-2012, has earned 6 VMEA Blue Ribbon Music School awards as well as numerous Superior Ratings at Virginia's district band assessments.
